AEM Properties is pleased to be able to provide insurance cover in a number of specific areas directly related to property management. These broadly come under three headings as follows.
Buildings Insurance
Buildings Insurance covers the cost of rebuilding or repairing a property in the event it is damaged. It would typically protect against fire, flood, subsidence, leaks and storm damage.
At present through our associated brokers, we are able to offer very competitive rates of insurance for landlords, please call us to discuss this.
Landlords Insurance
As referred to under the management section, when we place a tenant we undertake in most circumstances to insure that the rent is paid should the tenant default. In this eventuality the rent should be met for a maximum of 6 months whilst the tenant is removed from the property, the legal costs of removal up to £25,000 are also covered.
Tenants Insurance
We are happy to provide quotations for instant cover on tenants contents and this in most circumstances will also protect the tenants rent deposit against a claim relating to accidental damage.
